Before Alex designs a pair of sneaker or sketches out her next tattoo Alex lays everything she might need on the table to keep her creative juices flowing.

Once everything is in order Alex sits and lets the pencil do the talking. She knows for her next tattoo she wants something that represents what she thinks love is and her experience with it.

After an hour or less, Alex has an image sketched.

Here is a closer look of the sketch. To Alex love is a beautiful thing hence the flowers but it can be an ugly thing hence the skeleton, all balled up into one.

Here Alex adds detail to the sketch, if you know tattoos detail is key.

Here Alex is getting inked with the image she sketched the night before. Adding one more tattoo to her goal of having a sleeve. All the tattoos she will be combining to make the sleeve consist of tattoos that have meaning to her and are personally sketched by her.

Because the area Alex choose to place the tattoo is very sensitive, she could only get the skeleton done during this visit but she will finish the rest of the tattoo on a later date and might add more to her original idea.
